Mission
My mission is to provide professional counseling services from a Biblical Worldview, to the individual, the family, the church Body, and the community. My goal is to extend God’s love in the emotional and spiritual healing of individuals in order to equip them to become more Christ-like in their personal, professional and public lives. Ultimately, I am seeking to serve my clients with empathy and wisdom, in a Spirit-led process, sharing the timeless truth of Scripture. I am able to be an extension of the church, reaching out to the community to provide help and healing from life’s most difficult struggles.
Vision
As a Christian-Based therapist, I recognize that we may all be in different spaces on our walk with Christ & our walk through life. Although, as a Christian-Based Therapist I possess the ability to bring a biblical lens and perspective into session, my therapy sessions are client led, meaning that Faith/Spirituality ONLY enters into the session if the client is open to and requests it. I help my clients to develop coping strategies and to develop strengths to address the life’s everyday issues, stressors and traumas. This is addressed by building upon what has been helpful or worked in past situations. Providing Psycho-education and challenging and correcting thinking errors, introducing helpful skills/techniques.
